i've been saying things like "the former cto lost the mandate of heaven" at work

or things like "we wanted an octopus and so took a dog, removed the spine, and nailed legs to the corpse"

and for once i'm not causing trouble for myself, as i got hired to be "senior person who tells us stuff is broken" so that's kinda fun actually

i usually don't tweet directly about current job stuff, and stick to "vague and ambiguous tweets about former employers after several years have passed" stuff that won't end in libel

but yeah it is refreshing to be somewhere i am trusted and have agency, we'll see how that goes heh
