I am much more worried about the very real rounding up of immigrants happening right now than anything else. This is something that we have power at the ground level to help with, and our resistance is critical.

This not the first time the US has done this. In the 1950's 1.3 million people were deported to Mexico, not all of them immigrants. ICE was turned away from a Chicago elementary school. They were not allowed on site and they did not detain anyone. This is why resistance is important, and how we can actively fight.

Edit: The school district has said that ICE did not come to the school, but Secret Service. This was a miscommunication by the district. The article has been updated.

@itzyg @deafferret I cannot for the life of me tell what this article actually is about. There was no ICE, there was no deportation. This is just an article about confused people confusing other people.
