[#]Stargate is an obvious criminal scam at a pretty unprecedented scale.

Worst case: it succeeds, leading to an utterly dystopian surveillance society, massive (possibly irreversible) societal breakdown, and inhumane autonomous warfare.

Best case (more likely): it fails to achieve its delusional technological aims, but even if not fully financed, serves as a massive siphon of money into tech-fascists' pockets.

Neither outcome seems particularly desirable for 99.9% of humanity, if you ask me...

I just read your post. I checked stargate. What the actual fuck.... Why can't they solve actual issues in the world but instead litetally waste money in a pointless race of who has the strongest tech/biggest ego... What's happening in the world is beyond my mental capacity... It's overflowing with lack of sense, logic and/or rationalism....
