E.g., Facebook is almost dead due to algorithmic timeline and AI slop, driven by revenue sharing with “creators”, Meta's strategy to deal w/ diminishing engagement. 𝕏 is following same footsteps.

@nuculabs Jack, Twitter's founder, has left the board. Bluesky's largest shareholder is Jay Graber, the CEO, and the company is owned by other employees as well. I like it, as its protocol is federated with an approach different from Fediverse. E.g., if mastodon.social bans you right now, you'll lose everything.
And while crypto is disappointing, the needs it tries to solve are very much real, and not believing in a technology isn't reason enough to use it as a slur against its proponents.
