@Daveography @vga256 at the risk of sounding like an infomercial, this is why I dose my chain with muc-off multipurpose spray every time there’s a thaw.

TBH, WD-40 would probably work fine, too.

Yeah, I have a spare, was hoping to wait until spring to swap it but don't think I can wait that long.

I also have a heavier lubricant I could coat it with for added protection, just not sure it stays viscous if the temps drop below -15 again.
