To get some experience as a video content creator, I started @nextcloud_academy. It's inspired by explaining basic things to my in-laws over the phone. The channel will have short videos with step-by-step tutorials that you can show to people who are new to #Nextcloud.

I'm starting by showing how to set up an automatic backup of your photos and videos on #Android. (Bear with me, it's the first video I've ever put together 🙈 ).

@sesivany @nextcloud_academy I personally appreciate the activity. at the same time I would like to express my preference for videos that can be listened to. The worst form is interviews where the questions are in text and the answers in audio, which is not your case. I understand that it may be a rational production decision. Still, thanks for creating useful content.

@ruza @nextcloud_academy It would probably be even easier with a voice instead of text, but I really hate listening to myself. Even the underlying music was driving me crazy after several hours (yes, it took me several hours to put together a 2-minute video, it's still more learning than creating now), I can't imagine listening to myself over and over for hours. 🙉

@sesivany @nextcloud_academyky.cz @vhsky přišli jste na to, proč nejde např. v Newpipe zvuk? Už jsem chtěl koukat na několik věcí a pokaždé to stejný. Buď pustím jako background a je zvuk a ne video nebo video a bez zvuku :)

@kepi @vhsky Dost pravděpodobně ze stejnýho důvodu, proč nejde zvuk v #AntennaPod - je oddělenej audio a video stream a klienti s tim moc nepočítaj.

Stejnej problém s tím má třeba #Friendica

Každopádně, pokud to u @sesivany a u tebe ne, zkontroloval bych, jestli máš NewPipe aktuální

@schmaker @kepi @vhsky Ne, tak jsem se díval na video, které bylo ve skutečnosti odjinud. S těmi, které jsou přímo na Vhsky, to nejde. Asi z toho důvodu, který uvádíš.

@sesivany @schmaker @vhsky já to právě předtím zaznamenal, jen jen doufal, že se už povedlo vyřešit a je to něco u mě. Jiné peertube instance s tím mají taky trable?

Jde o to, ze Peertube umí rozdělit video a audio jen pár měsíců. Klientům bude chvíli trvat se tomu přizpůsobit. Já bych se toho dál držel. Šetří to místo a lidi můžou poslouchat jen audio.
