I just remembered that one of the guys at work who is all-in on AI art once argued with me claiming that VR was the future of media and VR movies would make regular movies obsolete

@rachel it's so much fun that none of these folks have ever picked up a book or tried to look at prior art.. or.. like.. even watched Lawnmower Man (1992).

i can think of at least three waves of VR hype in my own life and i'm young enough to know about skibadis and toilets :gurakek:​
