@havn Hi Erlend. I really enjoyed reading your article on how you’ve optimised your Mac for using one hand on the keyboard and one on the trackpad. I’ve replicated most of your trackpad gestures (also using BetterTouchTool) for use in the Orion browser and, although it’ll take a little while before it becomes second nature, I'm already seeing the benefits. I also want to see if I can replicate the Meh launchers using KeyboardMaestro.

Keep the great articles coming, I read pretty much every one!

@havn No problem at all 🙂 It's good to read thoughtful (and thought-provoking), well written and well researched articles. You also have your own ‘voice’, which makes your posts more interesting to read than the usual mainstream ones. I don’t have a wide social circle to share with but will happily boost where I can 👍

I couldn't get KeyboardMaestro to work so, for the moment at least, I’m trying out Superkey, which seems to do the trick. I’ll have a look at Karabiner-Elements though 😎

Superkey is great! Karabiner-Elements is more powerful, but Superkey is much easier to use. So if it can do what you need, that's perfect.

BTW, I use Raycast (https://www.raycast.com/?via=havn) to actually launch the apps — but there are many other options as well.

@havn That's ok, they were well deserved. I don't follow too many RSS feeds as I don't have a lot of time to read them so I much prefer quality over quantity 🙂

I'm definitely going to check out Karabiner-Elements when I have the chance. At the moment, I’ve used Superkey to set the hyper and meh keys, and then used Keyboard Maestro as the app launcher.

@havn I’ve been an Alfred user for a long time (and recommend digging into https://www.thoughtasylum.com for some great workflows for it, as well as Obsidian, Drafts and others) but I have also recently been experimenting with Raycast and I like it a lot! I have both installed now and, as I can't decide which I prefer, I think it may stay that way for a while 😁 Thank you very much for the offer of help, that will be very useful!
