Hiring a bunch of people from a single background hurts your company by limiting your problem-solving options to the ones that occur to people with that background. Why would you work against your own interests by limiting your options? Wouldn't you want to get the widest possible set of ideas? Isn't that the idea behind brainstorming? Everyone understands brainstorming. What's so fucking hard about DEI?
