My vote was "We haven't yet been told what to do", because I feel that "told what to do" is an atomic unit, as if the four words could be replaced with "instructed." Or the third, for a similar reason.

My wife is adamant that the second is best because the verb is "haven't been" and it shouldn't be split.

Hiring a bunch of people from a single background hurts your company by limiting your problem-solving options to the ones that occur to people with that background. Why would you work against your own interests by limiting your options? Wouldn't you want to get the widest possible set of ideas? Isn't that the idea behind brainstorming? In November, I decided not to winterize the bike because my intent was to keep riding if the roads were clear and the temp was over 38F-ish. Last year, this would have meant no riding for about 5-10 days scattered here and there.

Little did I know this would be out of my control. I finally put it in the garage today before the coming cold snap. Hopefully I can take it out in another 6 weeks.
