PPB are at the free store harassing everyone. 5 minutes before arriving a squad car drove by and said they’re coming back to kick everyone out. There’s 5 of them right now

Cops have nothing better to do than harass unhoused people. So many people who wanted food, shelter, warm clothes and other resources left with nothing because the cops showed up. They were trying to question people and taking down all the license plates.

Never talk to cops. A few weeks ago at the Thursday free store a squad car drove by. He was acting super nice, telling people “oh this is so cool I love what you’re doing” and then proceeded to try to ask people questions, still in a “friendly” way, like “how often does this happen?” and “what time are you guys here?” He was just trying to get intel. The next Thursday they drove by again, slowly, and this time filming everyone.

Then the escalation today.

@foundseed if you’re on the other side there’s a few free stores that happen there too! In Kenton, Hollywood, and Lents Park. I can get you all the days and times if it’s helpful. They’re much smaller than Sunday and Thursday free store but growing slowly but surely ✨

@alissaazar already talking with CFSHwood about hosting a table in our lot and co-ordinating supplies between events.

but i was thinking of just places that might need more Respectable White Bodies in the way while others can go about their shopping. seems like the other stores are still under the radar.
