@ret yeah I guess it like an all in one for classrooms like display switching and inputs and stuff like that, when I worked in a college we had like HDMI modern versions of similar stuff so it kinda makes aense

@kiwa I was about to say somethink akin to a KVM switch with RJ45 breakout tails for VGA and stuff, but the ports being labelled "students" and there being no regular USB/PS2 ports, my bet is on some sort of distributed presentation system where students have screens on their desks and see what the teacher wants to display to them, like a presentation or a digital work sheet. That would alao explain the VGA in AND out since you'd still want to see your own monitor picture
