@hugovk Thank you for sharing, it depends on volunteers availability to process updates of failing dependency. #Guix maintains a reproducible graph starting from a minimal seed up to leaves, which brings light and dark sides.
Some issues may occur when upstream changes the build procedures dramatically - example is #NumPy which introduced a custom #Meson variant, 2.2.2 failing on check phase.
Plan is to stabilise all builds after swap default Python and stark preparing for the next iteration
