[#]FPQuestion of the day:
What is it about fountain pens that makes one want to joyfully drag other people into it? Why, after using their first fountain pen, do people want to immediately buy a pen for everyone they know? Why are we like this? Why are fountain pens like this? (Originally asked by u/PeaceBrain on Reddit)

@penfount
Well, iIlnesses spread through human contact...
It's the feel of the nib on the paper and the feel of the pen in the hand.

@penfount Because we want to share our joy. It doesn't always work, but we try! And people want to be doing the cool niche thing (I know fountain pens are more widespread now, but it is still a cool niche thing).

@penfount Maybe it’s because of the usage: to write with hand, this changes something, even if it is only something simple. And we know it makes more fun with more colours and with more different pens’ experience.
