When I was pregnant with my daughter, during the very early days of the pandemic, I would get so anxious about the virus and people’s clear indifference to it. At some point, my hearing started to go weird: things would be simultaneously muffled and way too loud. The smallest noise hurt my ears, and would make me wince. Anyway, after I gave birth it stopped happening as much… until this year 🫠 Actually from early December onwards, I’ve had this same issue - not every day, but incredibly frequently 😶 Everything being too loud and making you wince when you have a 4-year-old and two 10-month-old babies is distinctly less than ideal. I wonder if it really is stress? I don’t really have time to go find a doctor and find out right now…
