Moving from the Big Tech lock-in platforms X, FB, IG, WA, TT, need not be hard. There are great and well supported alternatives in the open source communities. One of the respected small tech developers is dansup@mastodon.social, developer of alternative software solutions using the federative hashtag#activitypub protocol. All open source, all free.

But open source doesn't come free from costs. So Daniel started a Kickstarter project to generate some cash to further develop hashtag#pixelfed (who needs IG?) and hashtag#Loops (byebye tiktok!): http://kck.st/4g34fFb. And I shared a small donation picture, but my #akkoma server has a hard time switching from uploads to media or the other way around. I hope to get it fixed one day...
