Moving from the Big Tech lock-in platforms X, FB, IG, WA, TT, need not be hard. There are great and well supported alternatives in the open source communities. One of the respected small tech developers is dansup@mastodon.social, developer of alternative software solutions using the federative hashtag#activitypub protocol. All open source, all free.

But open source doesn't come free from costs. So Daniel started a Kickstarter project to generate some cash to further develop hashtag#pixelfed (who needs IG?) and hashtag#Loops (byebye tiktok!): http://kck.st/4g34fFb. And if you like to be self sovereign and independent from big tech, join the effort!

Over dat stikstofprobleem: de overheid hanteert de Deming cirkel (Plan-Do-Check-Act) als het gaat om normering en toetsing. En dat blijkt niet lekker. Ik heb lang geleden een artikel geschreven over wat mankementen van dat model en en wat oplossingen aangedragen. Het artikel staat in het #pvib vakblad #informatiebeveiliging, uitgave 3 in 2014 (link naar de pdf download: https://www.pvib.nl/actueel/ib-magazines/ib-magazine-2014-3/downloaden ). Kort en goed: als je vaststelt dat je niet aan je normaal voldoet, moet je bijsturen en niet de norm aanpassen...
