I said I wasn't going to be chatty here but this is the only place where my friends don't really follow me.

trying to work on what I thought would be a cool project with them has spun out into a huge argument. I feel like a failure for not being able to finish projects time and time again, but I also feel like my joy and energy has been shredded by the group.

I don't know how to handle this except to call it quits and just stop trying to collab with people. 😭😭😭

they've shot down a lot of my ideas, or steamrolled me with arguments about why it should be done their way, and then they told me the vibes were bad and asked me if i wanted to work on anything or if they're supposed to do all the work.

I expressed my frustration when prompted, and then got treated as hostile basically.

I'm just devastated. it sucks so bad to orphan this project but I think for my sanity I have to.

my dreams of putting together a friendly little art collective or group seem so distant and impossible. I just don't know if I'm cut out for handling interpersonal conflict without having a complete meltdown. I don't know why I'm so sensitive to these things.

@renardroi I'm sorry. fwiw, it sounds like a situation that anyone would struggle with, including crying. Sometimes people just aren't good for collaborating with, and I'm not convinced that in this situation that person is you.

@renardroi I'm so sorry. This sounds like an awful situation. Anyone would feel terrible when their ideas are shot down and their concerns treated as hostility. I hope you can look after yourself and I'm so sorry you've been treated this way. 💙
