@404mediaco please change it to DEIA, they are not just changing DEI policies. It includes accessibility, which I think is a very important and separate issue than DEI because of the ADA.

“It has also notably deleted information intended for improving accessibility for blind and visually impaired employees, which asked employees to use “visual descriptions” when introducing themselves on Zoom meetings.”

@404mediaco Deleting the Constitution webpage, that I didn't see coming. Do we know why they did it? What are they planning?

They can't change the text, I hope. Will they re-upload it but with Trump faces and some animated eagle GIFs? That's the best scenario I can think of.

@404mediaco They are also removing references to any "Virtual" or "Remote" work, and apparently sometimes they aren't sure what to say instead and leads to funny edits like this:

@404mediaco it is heartbreaking to see these people have to scramble and betray their deeply held values.

Open government is something to celebrate if only for this reason: it shows cause and effect really clearly.
