The funniest part about Web Components is how like all of 50 people in the world actually touch these directly and everyone else just gets “mildly fasterer Angular/Vue/React”.

This joke lands if you were around when Web Components “started” and everyone seemed to think they’d be writing their own portable web components from scratch in pure HTML/JS/CSS and not just slapping tailwind and some React type thing together.
