@kiwix hi

I just installed the android app from the apk. Is there a reason the app needs complete access to the filesystem? Most apps just need access for a specific folder or select folders?

@andreasio @kiwix If you install it from the Play Store, then it operates in a more limited mode, with access only to its own file store. You can import ZIMs into that file store from other locations with a file picker. But if installed from APK, it operates with full system access in order to be able to find all ZIMs on the device.
