my partner took me to some kind of startup socialization event where a couple of 'founder' dudes were talking about their pitch.

I started asking some very basic questions - "so where's the root of trust for this system" that kinda thing - and they immediately hared off into a rehash of their fog computing idea but using different words, and also not talking about like, tls certs.
