Hi, Jordan Mechner here. You might know my video games (Prince of Persia, etc)💾🎮 I've recently written and drawn a graphic novel memoir, "Replay"📕It's my story of 4 decades making games, and my family's story of surviving two world wars.

To write and draw REPLAY, I used 3 color palettes (as in Apple II) for the 3 timelines: Blue💙for my younger years making games in 1980s-90s, yellow💛for present day, sepia🤎for my dad's and grandfather's stories.

Blue and yellow interweave in this 3-page excerpt about the never-completed 2D Prince of Persia trilogy.
