I'm also on the phone fighting with a previous 401(k) plan administrator's helpdesk to get them to reissue a rollover check that they claim was sent a month a ago that has never reached me. Great times!

And yes, I know capitalism was a mistake.

The loss of pensions to 401(k) plans was one of the great thefts and tragedies of the Reagan era.
