One of my favorite Mastodon events is when an Australian complains about the heat and gets dogpiled by Canadians showing screenshots of temperatures that normal folks only see in superconductor labs.

@Virginicus One cold place I've been is the cold room at BAS in Cambridge. But actually I don't think it was quite as cold as it usually is - my visit was on an open day so the doors were being opened and closed and I suspect that the inside managed to warm up at least slightly. https://www.bas.ac.uk/
