@ClimateJenny @mrillig Maybe all that is really necessary to accomplish this in to make [...continue to ensure ] economic activity in said areas is DIFFICULT. Then only those who are truly integrated with the area, are happy with its slow evolution and not extractive, destructive behemoths will make the effort to live / travel there. Like no roads, no airstrips etc.
