Dear #mastodaoine does anyone know if driving in Status Red conditions invalidates your car insurance?

It sounds like bullocks to me... There's no way Met Éireann would deal with a liability like that

@cianhan I mean you're insured if you break the law, and it's not illegal to drive in a red warning....

Insurance is to protect others, it's still valid if you do stupid stuff( the 3rd party bit anyway)
