I bet there will be a flurry of statements from all the major US medical associations saying how bad crippling the #NIH is. And that it means stopping a huge range of life-saving medical research. They need to show faces of, and stories of, individuals whose lives were saved via treatments resulting from NIH funded research. Because the general public and others can better relate to faces and personal stories than they can to a lab researcher. Meetings have been canceled, and travel stopped.
