@jenny753 Writing an AIM server in a memory-safe language feels wrong. Part of the AIM experience was all the bugs!

Apparently they even used a RCE in the client to validate that it was official before allowing it to connect with OSCAR: https://www.geoffchappell.com/notes/security/aim/index.htm
