Liebe Bahnbubble, warum heißt der IRE 3 von Basel Bad Bf nach Friedrichshafen Stadt seit dem Fahrplanwechsel RE3?

An den Zwischenhalten hat sich nichts geändert.

@morre Meine persönliche Erfahrung damit ist, dass ich letztes Jahr einige Zeit brauchte, um herauszufinden, ob ich diesen Zug mit dem Deutschlandticket nutzen kann. Hätte der einfach nur „RE“ geheißen, hätte ich mir da gar keinen Kopf drüber gemacht.

@morre @pylon Nicht nur das, das Wagenmaterial kam afaik von der Fernverkehr, die ja als reiner Leistungserbringer sonst nicht zimperlich ist, auch ihre Regio-Dienstleistungen nicht für das DE-Ticket zuzulassen. Hätte jetzt mein Kopf zumindest geschlussfolgert.

@morre @pylon in Ulm war der IRE halt ein Zug, der 160+ fahren konnte. Das waren alte, aber druckertüchtigte Interregio/IC-Wagen im Sandwich zwischen gemieteten Vectrons. Ob die jetzt VF oder Regio gehören: dunno, wäre jedenfalls nicht ohne Nachfrage eingestiegen.

@danimo @pylon ich kenne die IR Zeiten nicht mehr, für mich war immer „Regio im Namen = NV“.

@morre @pylon das ist nicht mal der Punkt, sondern das es REs gibt, die Codeshare ICEs sind, und für die das DE-Ticket nicht gilt.

@morre haben die nicht alle IRE in BaWü in RE umbenannt, um das etwas einheitlicher zu haben? In allen anderen Ländern hieß es ja auch RE

@nicoduck Weiß ich nicht, deswegen frag ich ja.

Der fuhr hier Teilstrecken früher als Verstärker als RE3, und die ganze Strecke als IRE3. Das war einfach, weil IRE = ganze Strecke
