neat! both clamping screws fell into a black hole behind the kitchen sink cabinet. we video'd the underneath space, no screws to be seen. vacuumed, no results. the screws are gone and the tap is wobbly now.

the one screw does a good job of holding the tap firmly enough for now; the other one has vanished. it's like magic. we checked underneath the cabinets ten times, every nook and cranny. it is gone. probably to the same place that singular socks go.
