@r_flash most striking and my fav of the dozens I've seen of #genuary2025 as of today the 22nd. Can you do a larger [2x?] sized render without loosing resolution?

I'd love to see other tweeks/variants on this one too, if you're still playing with it

@wavesculptor Thanks a lot!! 😊 That's the thing with fractals, there's always some detail just below the current resolution, right? 😀

Unfortunately, this one is quite expensive to compute and when I try to render it at 2560⨉2560 my GPU just gives up 🙁

@r_flash when I saw 2560⨉2560 I had a hunch.

I downloaded as a 2.5 MB mp4 and and ran it; still not finding anything actually /saying/ what its 1:1 pixel dimensions are, but I'm getting it rendered full-screen-height now on this little laptop and still beautifully detailed; so I guess masto or something on the [mobile] network was just being a bit cagey about bandwidth. No 1:1 button as per stills.

@wavesculptor So you didn't see the full resolution the first time? That's a bummer 🙁 It's probably because of the slow speed of my instance. The original video is 1080p.
