@godpod and the uncorralled, unherded masses have run off somewhere else. Initiating an unexpected, massive and annoying cultural exchange which mostly consists of exchanging cat pictures and comparing government policies. Apparently Americans are surprised that Chinese people have food and houses.

In my Opinion, this is not true decentralization. One could buy the relays (or the Company behind Bluesky) and therefor control the entire Network.

@godpod Modern mass media in the US has become the Matrix. This includes all forms hosted/broadcast/published by major corporations.

@godpod Far right has TwitterX, and is making inroads into Facebook, Threads, and Instagram. Taking TikTok does not seem far away. Only Mastodon and BlueSky are left, but I don't put stock in BlueSky holding out. Much of it is reposted tweets. JMO
