When I watched the first season of Arcane, I thought the plot would be like Andor, or Asterix, where you somehow empathize with a terrorist group that fights irremediably against the empire. But in the end Arcane has managed to make me not empathize with anyone, neither with their motivations, nor with their emo drama. :ablobrollingeyes:

Yeah, and the only group I really rooted for just disappeared without further mention. Disappointing.

But aside from the story it's still a great series.

@mullana I just can't feel empathy towards the characters, I don't like them, I don't find their dialogues funny, and so I can't pay attention to all those details and bizarre twists that build the plot. I have a feeling close to that of the "uncanny valley" when I watch the show. :blob3c:
