On the way home from the drawing session I put on some old songs I already listened to as a teenager.

Even back then I wondered about the lyrics of „Empress“ by Gamma Ray. Pretty sure they meant: You, listener, kiss this princess who is also the empress of the dark. But you could also read it differently.

Since I kind of needed a palate cleanser after so much old man butt and am trying to get back into a regular drawing routine, I decided to go for the other interpretation!

[EN] I decided to go to a nude drawing session again after at least half a year break and got the same super boring model (old man, no definition except for the beer belly, no body tension, can't twist his body for the life of him) again! 🙈 What are the chances!

So, ich bin wieder Zuhause!

Die Mischung aus verquatschen und helfen, die "mobilen" Tische in der Bibliothek wieder an ihren Platz zu schieben und anzuschließen und dann nochmal verquatschen hat es doch ganz schön spät werden lassen! 😅

Aber es war voll und die Lesung hat Spaß gemacht und die anderen beiden Comics waren auch sehr interessant.

I hope to have at least one hacker ethic paragraph as a proper stained glass style sticker/poster motive by next year. Fingers crossed!

Despite the little setback, my sticker printing budget is at +275 € now. That's even a bit more than I spent on stickers for #38C3

Thanks to everyone who contributed! :D

Are there any stickers (or posters) you want to see more of? I can't reprint the Net Neutrality variant with gold on natural paper, because the print shop doesn't offer them anymore, but I'm looking for something similar. And maybe some rockets with fancy holographic stars? I don't know... Might be a bit too noisy?

I'm on my way back from the Risoprint workshop in Gängeviertel near #38C3. I'm gonna put these fresh two color risoprints near my sticker box at the @haecksen assembly.

We tried to wash the wool (with warm water and wool detergent) for the first time. It bled a little bit into the water, but I can't really see a difference in the color of the wool. (I only washed the right side, twice.)

I googled for a bit, but couldn't find anything on dyeing with aloe. I can't imagine nobody ever tried. Maybe there's another con to it? Allergies?

Next step is dyeing more and getting my sister to knit something out of it. :D

⚠️ Forbidden Noodles ⚠️

I'm testing a theory that the yellow sap that comes out of the green parts of aloe leaves can be used to permanently color wool. I have no idea what I'm doing, but that stuff certainly stains my dish clothes pretty permanently.

It should have turned rose colored by morning and as purple as the wool in the background when it's dry. *sips maté cherry aloe tea* And then I'm gonna give it to my sister who actually does stuff with wool and sometimes even dyes some of it.

Auf dem Hinweg eine Transportmöglichkeit und auf dem Rückweg hoffentlich 7kg Sticker weniger! 😄

Fährt zufällig jemand von euch am 26.12. von #Nürnberg zum #38C3 und hat noch einen Platz im Auto frei?

Mit der Bahn müsste ich glaube ich ein paar Sticker und Technik-Kram daheim lassen, damit mir nicht die Arme abfallen.

Where has the year gone?

I had so many plans, but the only new #stickers I managed to make for #38C3 are these tiny 1cm bugs.

I printed lot's of old stuff that never made it onto stickers (in that form), though.

Manchmal denke ich mir, dass so eine Beziehung vielleicht doch wieder Mal nice wäre.

Und dann erinnere ich mich daran, dass ich so ungefähr die Dating-Erfahrung einer durchschnittlichen 15-Jährigen habe und dann scheint mir allein der Gedanke daran, mich diesem "Markt" auszusetzen, absolut fürchterlich. 😅
