So I'm back on my #OnePlus 7T until #Fairphone ship me a new usb-c port >.<

I have two thoughts on this:

1: The 7T is still a fine phone, and if it was still getting updates, I'd likely never have stopped using it.

2. My bank is quite happy for me to install it's apps on this phone, which has had no security updates since 2022, but if I run a vanilla up-to-date ROM, I'm a security risk and can't have banking access on my phone

Bloody stupid my bank, and environmentally toxic from oneplus.

Oh, and before I praise Fairphone too much, twelve fucking quid of P + P for a usb c port is obscene. Sort it out.

@tasket They have a website, and that "works" on mobile (quotes are 'cos its mobile view is pretty terrible), however whenever I log into that site, or make online payments, I have to authenticate myself a second way than just the card number/banking creds. That either has to be the app, or I have to carry a card reader around with me, and make sure it's always got a charged button cell in it, which is a massive pain.
