@astraleureka Me too. It was always an attempt to consolidate power, and I'd really like to see more people saying "nah, fuck that" and just self-hosting, or setting up a VPS somewhere that isn't azure, AWS, or some fuckwit CDN.

Waaaay back in the day I munged together phpbb, movabletype, and some weird bridge code so I could have threaded comments on my blog.
