"Employees in any (US federal) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility offices will be placed on paid administrative leave 'effective immediately.'"
Tomorrow at 5pm is their last day. Agencies have to make a plan for firing them all by next Friday.
They're salting the earth.

From what I understand, the US Access Board is an independent agency, so it's exempt because it's not part of the executive branch.
However, everyone they work with, all the government agency accessibility teams? Just about everyone I know working in the federal government? They're getting fired tomorrow.

This isn't even a "call your legislator" kind of situation. It's going to happen. Any organization meant to level the playing field for government employees OR CITIZENS is getting canceled (and apparently some others will get swept up, too). And then it's all lawyers and injunctions and court dates.
But from now until the first temporary restraining order is issued, they're about to eviscerate government access in one fell swoop.
I cannot tell you how fucked this is.

@mattmay Damn shame a few more people couldn’t have voted for Harris/Waltz and prevented all this.
