So it seems a lot of my friends are joining #bluesky. I don't want to do that cause Mastodon is already giving me what i'm looking for, social media content wise. However it would be nice if i could connect with some of them. I read about the possibility of "bridging" the 2 platforms. I followed some steps that I found online about bridging my profile here on Mastodon into bluesky and succeeded in "duplicating" it there.

My question is: how do i connect with them from #Mastodon? Do i have to follow them? If yes, how do you do that? And how can they find me on bluesky and connect with me, without me having to use bluesky at all?

Any helps or leads would be very much appreciated.

@Ungrimironfist @FediTips to follow them from Mastodon, they have to bridge their Bluesky accounts. They can follow your bridged account on BS like any other account, but if they don't bridge their account, their likes, boosts, and responses are invisible to you.
