When I was in high school, I never understood how Hitler's rise to power worked. Like, surely people would stop this absurdly clearly public rise of hatred?

Seeing the last 8 years, seeing how we have literally gotten to the point where a nazi reached office and sieg heil'd multiple times in a row on public television and people are still sealioning and acting like it didn't happen...

I understand now. And I see we learned nothing in 80 years.

To those who do give a shit: I understand how easy it is to give up. I'm extremely tired of this stuff myself too. I've been telling people this is really happening for so long and always been told I'm overreacting, and even now people argue it's "not a nazi salute".

It's important to remember they want us to give up. The best way to spite them is to keep going as strong as we can.

Fuck them.

Trans Rights Are Human Rights. Black Lives Matter. Etc, etc. Don't give up.
