@Chronotope Numbers are essential at this point. I clicked randomly on a 2024 article on that page with a promising headline (“guzzling,” “planet-eating”) and found that one-half of one acre-foot is now considered “guzzling”. Also it confirmed that YouTube uses a lot of energy which was part of this article’s point.
