First of the "Not read before" books for 2025 is this one. It's a little 'all over the place' but the core message is fairly riveting and horrific, but the sort of thing you could see happening in the US quite easily, given how utterly stupid the voting public seem to be. @peejmaybe Errm yeah. I had that on my “might read one day” list but if I recall correctly she has publicly stated some very unsavoury views recently (which I’m now trying to track down) so it got taken off that list!

@Masterofsorrow Oh really? Eesh, didn't realise that. I nabbed it through our local library app as I thought the premise sounded interesting. What is it with authors these days eh? :)

@Masterofsorrow That seems like a real shame considering the content of her novels. Ah well, thanks for the forewarning, at least I didn't buy it I guess :D
