European universities and research institutes: now is the time to start selecting your pick of delicious North-American scientific brains, willing to exile somewhere else.

Things will get much, much worse for science in the US - and we can actually take advantage of that exodus, by creating the conditions to welcome those willing to come to Europe for freedom, safety and to be able to practice actual science about climate, environment, ethics, social sciences, technological R&D, etc, without fear of reprisal or censorship.

Let us flourish together for the advancement of humankind! Give them freedom, solace and refuge!

By the way, Brazilian universities: this is your chance, too! Let's reverse the historical colonialism and neocolonialism for once; take their brains!

@per_sonne sorry, Brazilian public universities are chronically underfunded and can't even keep the current research going right now.

Same in Europe, with all the neoliberal nonsense going on (you know, universities and public education should be working for capitalists and their companies, yada, yada), but that could change in the future...in fact, that can change in a flash. History is full of surprises...
