@lritter some people just don't wanna look at the signs that are in plain sight.
also, asch conformity experiments show that people mostly tend to follow their local crowd (and/or, they don't want to be noticed doing something that nobody nearby is doing). So if you look around you and you don't see anyone else complaining about signs of fascism, and you weren't explicitly taught to speak out against fascism... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
