No we're not we shot ourselves in the foot by electing thatcher in 79, shot ourselves in the foot by letting the Tories in during '10, and again in '16 when we decided to leave the EU over issues that weren't real, or old salty Englanders being afraid of migrants from the east of europe

I honestly predict that labour will not be able to spend 5 years what the Tories managed to fuck up in 14, the media will spin it like "oh labour is useless boohoo Tories for the win", except, the Tories were absolutely hammered in the last election, and labour won by default. So all the haedcore conservatives will probably vote reform (which is a company parading as a political party (!!) ), maybe farage will get in, but whoever is in charge is gonna copy all the shit policies that the US is about to enact.

Labour, Tories, lib Dems, fucking lying bastards about Scotland being booted out of the EU in the event of independence. They promised more powers but all we got was the ability to marginally alter income tax rates.

We don't have our own broadcaster

We don't have power over drug policy

We don't have power over employment and pay policy

We don't have power over energy policy

We don't have power over housing policy

If we were independent, we'd have our own problems, yes, but I doubt it would be THIS FUCKING BAD
