@koehntopp @monoxyd @breitband ernste Frage: warum nicht Anbieter wechseln? Das Problem existiert aktuell nur bei der Telekom (Schlimm genug, dass sie trotzdem Geld für L2/L3 Durchleitung bekommt).

@danimo Vor Ort der zuverlässigste Anbieter, bei dem ich Breitband bekomme. VPN anmachen ist für mich weniger Aufwand als Anbieterwechsel. @koehntopp @breitband

@koehntopp @monoxyd @breitband fwiw: Ich bin mit O2 sehr zufrieden. Habe seit dem Wechsel keine Routing Issues über DSL mehr. Die peeren halt ordentlich. DSL an sich nervt halt (DSLAM resettet gelegentlich und ist dann für 5 Minuten weg), aber das ist Problem der Telekom, so oder so.

Ich habe seit Jahren einen Vertrag bei Deutsche Glasfaser, aber im Ort hat sich noch kein Bauarbeiter blicken lassen.

@koehntopp @monoxyd @breitband Glasfaser ist mystischer Stoff. Noch mystischer sind Tiefbau-Arbeiter, aber bei den Hunger-Löhnen wundert mich das nicht.

Bei meinen Eltern im Ort haben die Anwohner den Arbeitern Essen gebracht, weil sie über Monate keinen Lohn bekommen haben.

@koehntopp war hier ähnlich.

Wo immer die Arbeiter aufgetaucht sind, hat die Nachbarschaft die Arbeiter (die einen super Job gemacht haben) mit Verpflegung versorgt.

Nachher hat sich auch rausgestellt, dass es Probleme mit dem Lohn gab.

Drecks Ausbeuterei über Sub-Sub-Sub-Subunternehmen.

@eliasp @koehntopp @danimo @monoxyd @breitband Die Geschichten höre ich hier aus den ausgebauten Stadtteilen ebenfalls. a) was ne Armut, b) trotzdem mal was positives, dass die Nachbarschaft so solidarisch mit den Leuten connected.

@koehntopp hier hat es bei #DeutscheGlasfaser von Vertragsabschluss bis Anschlussaktivierung 3 Jahre gebraucht.

Seit es läuft, läuft es aber ordentlich!

Das ist halt essenziell, wenn man zu Hause Sachen hosten will.

Die warten bis sie im Ort soviele "Kunden" ~60% brauchen sie damit sie staatliche Fördergelder bekommen. Früher fangen die meisten nicht an zu Arbeiten.

@danimo @koehntopp @monoxyd @breitband Gilt das auch für den Fall, dass der alternative Provider (O2, 1&1, …) die Leitung der Telekom mietet (so wie meistens)? Also geht das dann auf der Leitung irgendwo „zeitig“ rüber in das Netz des Providers? Meine Annahme war immer, dass man dann auch das Netz der Telekom verwendet und dementsprechend wieder deren Peering ausgesetzt ist.

@ron "Kommt drauf an". 1&1 ist sowohl Telekom-DSL-Reseller (*.t-ipconnect.de als reverse DNS) oder verkauft eventuell vor Ort verfügbare eigene Kapazitäten via Layer 3 Bitstream-Access. Im Zweifel erkennt man das aber erst nach Anschluss an der eigenen IP...

O2 macht nach meiner Erfahrung grundsätzich L3BSA. Vodafone afaik auch, wenn sie über DSL realisieren. Bei Telekom-Glasfaser als Vorleistung gilt das analog.

Also im Zweifel mal lieber bei O2 oder VF schauen.

Überlege nämlich, ob ich netzbremse.de abwarte, oder dann doch demnächst mal wechsle.
