What is something cool that happened to you or that you enjoyed witnessing that happened as a result of you joining the Fediverse?

For me one thing has been being much more involved in online cycling community here than I was on Twitter (despite there being a cycling community there). 🤗

@meganL Highlights for me on Mastodon and the Fediverse include such a good fiber arts and crafting community, especially #MakersHour and its regulars and occasionals.

Following hashtags is great for discovery except a few that seem overused like pixelart, alas.

Loved #BikeSchool at the destroyed place, and enjoy #BikeNite so much too as the closest to that community.

Being fascinated by things other people enjoy, but without feeling I need to feel the same way.

I don't care that much for #Ants. But @futurebird posts about them bring me joy, especially when she joined the #Monsterdon movie that had giant ants.

[#]Knitting is another one. @Archergal and @lizbon post things they're working on I enjoy without wanting to become a knitter myself.
