🤔 If the 9572 I put on the carrier was 5V, not 3.3V, it wouldn't have replied to the jtag...

@RueNahcMohr Why not? 3V3 chips use 5V1 compatible logic levels. By default anything less than Vcc/2 can be considered a low (though data sheets often point out different specifics for different chips), and anything higher, a high. In general, communications aim for rail-to-rail highs and lows, and 3V3 > 5.1/2 🤷‍♀️

@codeofamor I think I already had this with one of the xilinx chips, I will double check the part number...
