I filter my feeds to keep from being overwhelmed by politcal news, and I have a couple requests:

• Use politicians' real names. I can't keep up with every joke name.

• If joke names are critical to your vibe, please add a tag like #USPol to the post

• Include the politician's name in your alt text when they're in an image (or quoted in a text image)

I know today is weird and I'm doing my best to be forgiving, but I don't wanna start muting/unfollowing unless I absolutely have to.

@mitten agreed. Same goes for other controversial figures. There’s certain social media CEOs I’m sick of hearing about but people use so many variants of their name it feels like playing wack-a-mole muting it
