This is the beginning of this nonsense not the end. Using civil rights law to discriminate against trans people is certainly a creative approach to this evil. We’ll see over the next bit what this means but these orders are written to take their best shot at hurting trans folks the most. They are not written for any goal short of that.

Looks likely many of us face real concrete risk to be considered criminals under the law over the next four years for normal things we do every day.

@djcapelis this sucks so much... 😣

I'm hoping one of the big civil liberties groups challenges it in court - not sure what else we can do to fight it, but I just donated to A4TE in hopes that they will have some good ideas.
